2021 will be a year to celebrate friendships, family and food more than just on Fridays! Scarlett & Robyn have vowed to visit each other more…even if it turns out to be by ZOOM. They have also vowed to try out more adult beverages. Scarlett says she sleeps better if she has a little booze with dinner and Robyn says why wait for dinner.

Old wives tales state that if you eat Black eyed peas in the New Year it will bring good luck. Also, if you do not use the first slice of bread until you are at the last you will make ends meet in the year. And another suggestion is to open your front door and your back door on a windy day in January to blow the old year out and welcome the new one. We will doing all 3 as we do not want to live another 2020!

Scarlett & Robyn will be looking thru their old recipes and some new ones to find away you can truly enjoy eating black eyed peas..it may take awhile as they are not a favorite with either Thoroughbroad, so if you have one you would like to share, they would love for you to post it!
